Paul Harris Fellow & Awards to Members
Martyn Reeves, one of our Club members, has recently been recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow and is pictured receiving his award from Club President Dave Darby.
Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary and the award in his name is the highest award in Rotary. It is given to a Rotarian or non-Rotarian who has made an outstanding contribution to the community.
Martyn has been a Rotarian for 30 years and during that time he has been Club President twice, in 1998/99 and again in 2012/13. He has served on various committees and is currently a Trustee and a member of Club Council.
He is an enthusiastic supporter of Rotary and all that it stands for, and his 30 years of experience are invaluable to the Club and its members.
You all know the phrase “if you want something done, ask a busy person to do it” - it could have been written for Martyn!
Martyn also received a certificate to mark his 30 years as a Rotarian.
Doug Rogers (35 years) and Alan Hopkins (30 years) received their certificates too in recognition of their long-standing membership and commitment to Rotary.

Christmas Carol Tour
The Carol Tour is back!
One again we are collecting donations in support of local and international causes. This year it is a little different, due to covid we will not be knocking on doors but our float will stop for a few minutes at key locations as we tour the streets of Faversham.
Come and join us as we bring Christmas cheer to your neighbourhood...

QUIZ NIGHT POSTPONED
Unfortunately the Quiz Night on Friday 10th December has had to be postponed, but the Club hopes to be able to go ahead with it in the spring.
However the Club’s Christmas Elves have been busy so we will still be able to provide Christmas gifts for Faversham’s Young Carers and the Vulnerable Elderly.
