Cycling is for everyone, beginners, individuals, families and all ages. It's fun, good exercise and by taking part in the Faversham Family Bike Ride you can raise money for charity as well. Click on the 'Register' button below and join in the fun!
The Faversham Family Bike Ride will start and finish at the Abbey School sports field and is approximately 12 kilometres long, through beautiful countryside, south of Faversham.
The event will be fully-supported with a clearly-signed route, marshals, first aid, cycle mechanics and support vehicles.
Active Travel Day
The Rotary Club of Faversham are working with Faversham Town Council to be support Active Travel Day.
Enjoy a day of community, activity, and inspiration at Faversham Recreation Ground. Whether you’re a cyclist, walker, scooter enthusiast, or just curious about eco-friendly travel, there’s something for everyone.
Highlights Include: Free bike checks and repairs with Cycle Maintenance UK. Information about guided walking tours in and surrounding areas of Faversham Demonstrations. Fun activities for all ages, food, refreshments and more! Discover the joys of active travel while supporting a healthier, greener community.
Taking Part
The Faversham Family Bike Ride is open to anyone with a safe and roadworthy bicycle. All participants must wear a cycle helmet. Riders under the age of 16 years must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (16+ years).
